[ He's not sure what he feels, when he's turned down. This rejection doesn't hurt as much as the last one did - but it breaks something in him, nevertheless. He lowers his eyes to the ground, and he's... sad. Just sad. Not crying. Not screaming. Just - sad. ]

[ He's said it a thousand times, by now, and he knows the words have lost all impact. But it's all he wants. He's resigned, now, to never getting Poe - not fully, not completely - but he just... ]
