I think you're allowed to be annoyed by that. It's kind of hard to know you might not have had your wishes acknowledged or your agency validated. It's probably a little dehumanizing to think your body was kind of disrespected? Given an ending you didn't want, kind of thing. But.
IDK. Being buried wouldn't be so bad, if that's what happened. Returning to the earth kind of suits you more than cremation.

i'm not sure i was buried. idk what they do with unclaimed bodies. it's not that.

my mom and i said we'd scatter each other's ashes in the blue mountains. it was our favourite hiking spot. hers are there now, but mine aren't. i know it doesn't really matter, since i'm still sort of around, and it's not like anybody alive knew my last wishes or cared, but what's left of me is in the wrong place.

[it's the only place a small part of them could be together, since Magnus doesn't know where her soul is; Magnus is moving on, moving forward, but there's a restlessness in those things he can't (won't) be able to settle]
