[He very nearly presses it - his instinct to get to the bottom of something and fix it almost overwhelming. But a voice at the back of his mind whispers- if you dig, you're just going to hear answers you don't want to hear.

He shuffles in towards Owain until he can press their foreheads together and lean in to take a long, warm kiss.]

[ It's amazing, really, how soft, physical contact like that with Poe just makes him feel overwhelmingly better. He shuts his eyes and just enjoys the kiss for what it is, and when Poe tries to pull back, he puts his arm on his neck and urges him to stay, dragging this out for as long as he can. He's so focused on what it feels like to be close to Poe that he doesn't guard his expression the way he should - he looks so, so fucking sad, even with his eyes locked closed and his lips pressed against Poe's for as long as they are. It's only when his stomach stops tying itself in knots and he stops feeling like he's gonna cry that he finally, finally lets go.

He's quiet, for a second, but then he opens his eyes, nervously taking Poe in. ]

You're, um-- [ He needs to break this mood, needs to end this. ]

[Poe didn't seem to argue, when he was kept close - just kissing Owain with a slow, deliberate ease. When the kiss was broken he just shimmied in closer, sliding his body into place alongside Owain's, and closed his eyes.

He gave a low, breathy chuckle.

Well, I had good inspiration.

[ Odin smiles back, but again, it's watery and distant. He wants to say something, for the thousandth time, but he knows he won't. So he just shrugs and shuts his eyes. ]

Bed time.

[ He grabs Poe and pulls him close, making this piece of shit the little spoon whether he likes it or not. Maybe if he goes to sleep he won't feel like this anymore when he wakes up. ]
